The Power of C.A.L.M.

From Chaos to CALM – Reset Your Rhythm This Fall

As summer fades and the demands of fall creep in, many of us feel that subtle pressure—the shift back into routines, the endless to-do lists, the balancing act of business, family, and self-care. It can feel chaotic. Overwhelming. Like you’re running on fumes.

Power of Calm Your Plan v Real Life

That’s why our September Power of She event could not have come at a better time.

We welcomed Angie Weber—parent coach, entrepreneur, and founder of The Parent Toolbox—who introduced us to her transformational C.A.L.M. Approach©. Her mission is bold yet beautifully simple: by changing our conversations, we can change generations.
And after experiencing her wisdom firsthand, we believe it.

by changing our conversations, we can change generations.

The Power of the C.A.L.M. Approach©

Angie reminded us that balance is not a one-and-done achievement—it’s an ebb and flow. Just like in business, our lives shift with the seasons, and so must our approach. Her C.A.L.M. framework is designed to help us:

✔️ Communicate with clarity, even during chaos
✔️ Reconnect with our people—and ourselves
✔️ Create rhythms that actually work for our lifestyle
✔️ Lead with confidence at home, at work, and beyond

Instead of striving for perfection, Angie reminded us that the real key to calm is patience, practice, and grace.

PoShe walked away with more than inspiration—we gained practical, life-shifting tools.

Here are just a few highlights that struck a chord:

Core values create calm. Just as businesses thrive on clearly defined values, so do families. Establishing these together can foster deeper connection at home.

Miscommunication fuels chaos. Angie encouraged us to “mirror back” what others say to prevent misunderstandings—whether in the boardroom or the living room.

Emotions are contagious. If stress spreads, so does calm. Tuning into our own emotions and body cues can help us (and everyone around us) stay in the “sweet spot.”

Boundaries are essential. “You are not a 7-Eleven!” Angie reminded us. Setting fluid, healthy boundaries that can shift with time is a game-changer.

Meetings aren’t just for business. A weekly 15-minute family meeting can be just as powerful as your Monday staff meeting. A small habit with a huge impact.

in a nationwide survey of 593 parents, communication was identified as the #1 conflict issue.

Why This Matters

Think about that—not lack of love, not lack of effort—communication. The way we talk to ourselves and to each other, especially in moments of chaos, holds the power to strengthen or strain our relationships. Angie’s approach equips us with tools to make sure we choose the former.
