Seven years ago, Power of She began as a small circle of women — entrepreneurs, dreamers, doers — who gathered to learn, collaborate, and support one another without judgment or competition. What started as conversations over happy-hour has grown into a movement of fierce, fabulous, and fearless women across the Twin Cities.

And this October, we gathered once again — this time to celebrate what we’ve built together.

Our 7th Birthday Celebration, themed The Power of Confidence, was more than just an anniversary party. It was a night filled with reflection, gratitude, laughter, and a renewed sense of purpose for what’s next.

Our Growth

In the beginning, Power of She was simply a group of eight women in Blaine who wanted to share ideas, navigate challenges, and lift one another up. Each event left us more inspired, more connected, and more powerful than when we arrived.

Fast forward seven years — and what a journey it’s been!

Today, Power of She is about Education, Experience, and Exposure:
✨ Education — learning that fuels both personal and professional growth.
✨ Experience — connecting with women who have walked the path ahead and are ready to guide and collaborate.
✨ Exposure — being seen, known, and celebrated for your unique gifts and voice.

From workshops and showcases to new friendships and thriving businesses, this community has become a place where women show up boldly — and magic happens.

A Night of Confidence, Intention & Celebration

The energy in the room was electric. From the moment guests arrived, the laughter, warmth, and connection were contagious.

We opened the evening reflecting on how far we’ve come — from that original circle of women in Blaine to a thriving network now expanding across the Metro. With new South and East pop-ups and our first-ever Retreat on the horizon, our growth has only just begun.

You were invited to set your intentions for the year ahead — to write down what brought you to Power of She, what you need confidence in, and what you’re ready to boldly step into next. The act of declaring these goals on your signature pink cards was a symbolic step toward clarity, courage, and confidence.

Then our celebration’s most meaningful moment— the Onyx Gem Reveal.
As a nod and connection to celebrating SEVEN years strong, we gifted all guests in the room with an elegant black onyx stone — a symbol of strength, grounding, and protection. Onyx reminds us to stand strong in our decisions, establish boundaries, and walk confidently into our next chapter.

To cap off the evening, Suzy Simonson of AmplifyHER Branding Photography shared her signature tips for showing up confidently in front of the camera — and in life. Her message was powerful and freeing: that confidence isn’t about perfection, but about authenticity. It’s about showing up as you — unapologetically and proudly.
