The Great Give Back
When Women Gather, We Fuel Futures
Our purpose at Power of She is to uplift and support women in business through connection, learning, and inspiration. And sometimes, that mission naturally expands into something even bigger. Our December GIVE BACK Event was one of those beautiful extensions — a moment where our community’s heart and drive created a meaningful impact for families across Minnesota.
This year, we partnered with EveryMeal, a Minnesota organization working tirelessly to fight child hunger by filling the weekend food gap. For so many students in our state, free school breakfast and lunch may be the only consistent meals they can count on. Weekends can be uncertain — and hungry. Teachers across Minnesota see firsthand how a child’s ability to learn, focus, and grow is impacted when they don’t have enough to eat.
EveryMeal steps in with a simple, powerful solution: weekend food bags filled with 4–5 pounds of nourishing food that are slipped discreetly into backpacks every Friday. It isn’t a food supply problem — it’s a distribution problem — and this organization has created a model that now supports more than 375 school sites across 44 districts.
And on December 3rd, we became part of that mission.
A Night of Energy, Purpose & Powerful Women
From the moment the room filled, the energy was electric. Busy women with big hearts circling up for impact — many returning members, many brand new faces, all united with a single intention: to give kids in our communities a full belly and a fair chance. We formed assembly lines, tied bags, checked boxes twice, and moved with the kind of shared momentum that only happens when women gather with purpose. And the results? Nothing short of goosebump-worthy.
What We Accomplished — Together
Because of YOU, we packed:
$14,000+ worth of food
2,200 weekend food bags
Nearly 8,700 meals total
That means we provided consistent weekend nourishment for the equivalent of 42 families for an entire year. Forty-two families who will feel steadier, supported, and seen because a group of women came together and decided to make an impact. This is what happens when we don’t just talk about change — we create it.
The Heart Behind the Work
One of the most meaningful takeaways of the night was learning just how intentional EveryMeal’s work is.
Food is sourced from around the world.
Bags are color-coded by culture so kids can choose what feels familiar.
Every item is selected to nourish both body and dignity.
And the best part? It all happens because of community volunteers — people like you who show up, even during the busiest season of the year. You didn’t just pack food. You packed hope, stability, and a sense of belonging into every single bag

A Final Thought
We often say that when women gather, we don’t just show up — we shine, we support, and we give back. This event embodied that truth in the most beautiful way.
Thank you for being part of this community and for proving once again that collective action creates extraordinary impact.
Here’s to more connection, more collaboration, and more moments of meaning in 2026.
